Designed and executed in a challenging hillside environment, this development demanded expert technical capability and meticulous planning. One of the key challenges involved rock removal on the sloped terrain, which required the skill of a highly trained and experienced excavator operator to ensure rocks were safely removed and contained, avoiding any risk to nearby residential properties.

In addition to the technical achievements, The Ark offers stunning panoramic views across the city and out to sea, making it not only a triumph of engineering but also a desirable place to live. The elevated position of the site enhances its appeal, providing future residents with breathtaking vistas that complement the quality of the infrastructure beneath their feet.

WORKS COMPLETED

  • Earthworks including site clearing. topsoil stripping, cut and fill, supply and placing topsoil, soiling and grassing.

  • Right of way construction including metalling and sealed surface.

  • Vehicle crossings, removal of existing crossing and replacement with kerb and channel.

  • Sewers, including manholes, service laterals and connection to existing network.

  • Stormwater drainage on site.

  • Water reticulation, including fittings, service connections and arranging connection to existing network by Council approved contractor.

  • Power and Enable Fibre trenching and backfilling, plus service authority liaison.

  • Testing and commissioning of all completed works.
